Nicole Macaulay received her Bachelors degree from Boston College and her Masters of Fine Arts from Emerson College. She worked in television, news media and currently works in marketing at her family’s over-100-year-old tour operator, Collette — a job which has taken her all over the world. Her thesis, Honeymoon Alone, won the 2019 Popular Fiction Thesis Prize at Emerson College. Nicole lives in Rhode Island with her husband, four children and an adorable tuxedo cat named Jack.
